#WoW - Dead Bugs
The deadbug workout enhances core stability and improves posture, balance, and efficiency.
How to do it
Start by lying flat on your back on an exercise mat.
Extend your arms straight up toward the ceiling, directly above your shoulders.
Lift your legs so your knees are bent at a 90-degree angle, with your shins parallel to the floor.
Keep your lower back pressed & engage your core.
Inhale as you prepare for the movement.
Exhale as you slowly lower your right arm and left leg towards the floor in a controlled manner.
Your right arm should reach overhead until it almost touches the ground.
Your left leg should extend straight out, lowering towards the ground without touching it.
Keep your core engaged and your lower back pressed into the mat throughout the movement.
Inhale as you bring your arm and leg back to the starting position, maintaining control and core engagement.
Alternate the movement lowering them towards the floor while maintaining core stability.

Insights into Jakob Ingebrigtsen's 5,000 Meter Gold
Coros has published an insightful blog on Ingebrigtsen’s training and race day of his 5,000m gold. Ingebrigtsen doesn't believe in testing his fitness during peak season, preferring to "harvest" his training like a farmer. Instead, he trusts the meticulous data collection and analysis he and his brothers have implemented, relying on consistent training throughout the year.
He describes his approach to training as a balance of high volume and intensity, carefully monitored through heart rate variability (HRV) data. This allows him to ensure he enters races at the peak of his readiness, minimizing the element of chance.
The blog also dives deep into the data from his Paris 2024 5,000-meter race, and how he strategically managed his energy throughout the race. His strategy is to hold back early, conserving energy for a crucial surge near the 3,000-meter mark and a final sprint for gold in the closing 600 meters.
NYC Marathon 2024 Ready for another Star-Studded Field of Champions
The 2024 TCS New York City Marathon is set to be a race for the ages, boasting an incredible lineup of Olympic and Paralympic medalists.

Among them are Belgium's Bashir Abdi, who took silver in Paris, and a group of accomplished Kenyans: Evans Chebet, Albert Korir, Geoffrey Kamworor, and Abel Kipchumba.
The women's open division will see Hellen Obiri of Kenya, a three-time Olympic medalist and the reigning champion of both the New York City and Boston Marathons, return to defend her crown. #TipOfTheWeek - It's the race week!
It's the Hyderabad Marathon race week.🥳 Those traveling by flight, avoid checking in your essential running gear like shoes👟, clothes🎽, hydration packs, and energy gels to ensure they’re with you at all times and avoid any last-minute stress. Also, resist the temptation to explore the city the day before since sightseeing can leave you tired before the performance. Especially for those running the marathon category, since the route has limited tree cover, wearing a cap🧢 and donning sports sunglasses 🕶️ will help protect you from the sun as you tackle the course. Remember, this is just a race, so stick to your plans, but if things don’t go as expected, slow down, and know that there’s always another race ahead. And as you cross the line, don't forget to smile for the cameras📸.
#TeamGeeksOnFeet wishes you all the best! And don't forget to share your race experience and photos on X at @geeksonfeet.
